Doug has recorded hundreds of tracks for many big music libraries around the world from Sonoton in Germany to 5 Alarm Music in Pasadena CA in almost every kind of style of playing you can think of, from pop to blues to metal to jazz to classical to folk to Hawaiian.
The 24 stringed instruments he plays include electrics like Strats, Teles and Les Pauls to Gibson 335s to arch tops, acoustics like Martin and Guild flat-tops, Suzuki 12 string, and Godin and Takamine classicals, on through to specialty instruments like baritone electrics, mandolins, ukes and lap steel. Doug has many vintage amps including a ’64 Fender Vibrochamp, Jim Demeter TGA-3 Serial # 001, Fender Concert, and Bogner Goldfinger.
